This brings to mind how we help the children form their habits of preparing for their work choice: gathering and setting up their materials, carrying out their work with focused attention and concentration, reaching completion, and restoring all materials to good order and returning them to their places.
Also, it brings to mind how we help the children learn to review their appearance – the cleanliness of their noses, the neatness of their hair, the orderliness of their clothing, the cleanliness of their hands before greeting an observer, going on an errand to the office, and taking a presentation to another classroom community.
